Why FrameWood?
FrameWood stands for frames and woods — two cinematic metaphors. “Frames” represent every shot that builds a story; “Wood” symbolizes strength and rootedness, as in the roots of storytelling itself. Together, they define a festival grounded in artistic authenticity and creative growth.

Founding Story
FrameWood was envisioned by Tanveer Alam as a dream to create a festival where art and innovation coexist. Together with Manish Jain and Shahbaz Siddiqui, that dream took form — a festival built on respect for artists, passion for stories, and a shared vision for the future of cinema.

A visionary filmmaker and entrepreneur, Tanveer leads FrameWood with a mission to elevate independent cinema and creative innovation.
Manish Jain — Festival Director
With extensive experience in event management and film programming, Manish oversees the festival’s operations, partnerships, and international outreach.
Shahbaz Siddiqui — Festival Programmer
A curator with a deep love for storytelling, Shahbaz manages film selections, programming strategy, and creative direction.
